If this is the case we often ask your permission to assume
authority over these plans by way of a Letter of Authority
(click on the link
for an example). Authority allows us to value the
contract, obtain a full schedule of benefits and add the
contract to your portfolio. Authority does not allow us
to change your contract in any way nor does it allow us
access to your money. Authority can be countermanded at
any time by you or the owner of the contract.
