A Hole-in-One for Bernie!

Happy New Year! We hope 2025 is the year you achieve something special – like Bernadette (Bernie) Good, who has been a client of ours for more than 20 years.

Bernie is a keen golfer and scored a hole-in-one after taking on the challenge at the 7th Hole of the Roman Road course at the The Celtic Manor Resort .

A hole-in-one is considered to be one of the most prestigious achievements in golf and as her prize, Bernie will enjoy free membership to the Roman Road and Montgomery courses, as well as all the facilities at the Celtic Manor Resort for the next 10 years! Bernie has only been playing golf for five years after taking it up through the New To Golf scheme run by Wales Golf.

She said: “It was quite an “unreal” experience! To actually hit a hole-in-one on that hole when a member of the Celtic Manor golf staff was actually there, it was unbelievable really. It’s all a bit of a blur!!”
